Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to, the following:

Project Management Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain project controls. This includes the following:

  • Creating and maintaining master project schedules (P6 and Microsoft Project). Project schedules are to be updated on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain job files and Project Management Software (PlanGrid, Procore, Box, etc.) to ensure that all project documents are complete and up to date.
  • Develop and maintain project logs (RFI Logs, Submittal Logs, Change Order Logs, Document Logs, Progress Tracking Logs, Equipment Reports, Man Hour Logs, Delay Logs, etc.)

- Manage procurement process. This includes the following:

  • Solicit pricing from subcontractors and vendors as needed.
  • Assist with subcontractor prequalification process and client approval process.
  • Draft detailed and comprehensive subcontractor scope of work documents.
  • Draft and submit subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Coordinate delivery of material and equipment.
  • Maintain delivery and inventory records.

- Manage QA/QC Program Deliverables (RFIs, submittals, inspection/testing reports, punch lists, turnover packages, etc.)

- Develop and submit weekly update packages (owner updates and internal updates) and attend owner update meetings as needed.

- Make visits to project sites as needed but no less than once per week.

- Ensure that field supervision is adhering to all applicable guidelines.

- Perform project cost control procedures. This includes the following:

  • Track and monitor productivity factors.
  • Develop and maintain progress tracking logs.
  • Approve vendor/subcontractor invoices on a weekly basis
  • Draft and submit owner and subcontractor change orders and ensure that all commercial adjustments are input and up to date in accounting software.
  • Perform detailed monthly cost projections.
  • Develop and Submit Owner Pay Applications/Invoices

- Schedule and accompany Owner on any jobsite visits when requested.

- Assist in coordination of manpower.

- Establish and maintain a safety culture that satisfies Moore’s and clients’ guidelines.

- Ensure that all HSE practices are followed and that project personnel maintain a Safe Working Environment at all times.

Estimating Responsibilities:

- Develop estimates and required proposal documents for bids/proposals. Experience with Civil projects is a plus!

- Perform quantity take offs for a variety of disciplines including but not limited to sitework, civil, mechanical, and architectural.

- Perform labor and equipment estimates for various disciplines of self-perform work.

- Create project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 (or Microsoft Project).

- Assess various approaches to project execution to determine the most cost effective and technically acceptable option. Develop detailed execution plans to be submitted with proposals.

Requirements for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Required

- Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating and/or project management.

- Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Must have the aptitude to quickly learn new software.

- Must possess strong leadership, management, and communication skills.

- Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and be able to maintain a healthy working relationship with a diverse group of individuals.

- Must be capable of simultaneously managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.

- Must have a strong understanding of cost control practices and principles.

- Hold active TWIC credential

- Must pass drug screen

Preferred

- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

- Experience estimating and/or managing projects within the private-industrial and public sectors.

- Experience estimating and/or managing self-performed scopes of work.

- Proficiency in the following software:

§ Sage Timberline

§ On-Screen Takeoff

§ Primevera P6

§ Bluebeam

§ Plan Grid

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
